Interesting, which one have you gone for? I'm going to check out the 20w model when i get the chance as it might be better for me than the Goldstar although ideally i'll keep that anyway because the 335 into it is ear-sex

In typical Kev style, I went for the 100w head.

Thought you might have! I'd be looking at the 60w if there was a power down mode, might have a gander at the S1 45w too though with its 5w mode..........

I was a tiny bit away from the 60w combo but I prefer the head as I can take into rehersal easier, etc plus I get a choice of cabs.

Also, the thought of squeezing 60w from 2 EL34's is stretching efficiency a wee bit for my liking.

They're both the same amps though - the manual is the same for both.

    Roll on beginning of March!

The new owner didn't want the Mullards so I changed them over and re-biased the amp. So I decided to take some pics to show you Martins work and also show you what you're missing out on!!!!

Will the guts of your Blackstar look as nice as that?

Isn't it *less* flexible than the Martamp...won't you require an attenuator?

    Dammit man...explain yourself!

assuming you're getting the 100w Artisan head
