Crowther Hotcake with Bluesberry Mode - sold
Great drive pedal that can also be used as clean boost. If you have a Vox type amp do yourself a favour and get one of these! (I sold my AC15)
Boss GT8 - £170A recent addition to Paul Crowther's pedal range, The Bluesberry (as per image) bears an uncanny resemblance to the Hotcake. Infact the only thing that denotes it as a Bluesberry is a label on the front of the pedal. So why bother? Well the Bluesberry is tonally "throatier" than the original Hotcake and lends a bluesier feel to the sound. Like the Hotcake, you get a wonderful sense of power and a super accurate true bypass.
The build quality is excellent and, just like the hotcake, the dynamic control and response of the pedal seems to be almost intuitive.
Tons of effects. Lots of Discontinued Boss FX (e.g. SG-1 and VB-2) and some pretty weird stuff (e.g. auto riff, wave synth) are in it.
Will trade for Zvex Box of Rock, Catalinbread DLS or Fulltone OCD V4. Or M9.
