FS Marshall VS100R
Selling my Marshall VS100R for more Blackstar funds!
I was genuinely blown away with the tone of this amp, it's the second generation of Valvestates and pisses all over the new ones, none of that horrible thin fizz. It's got loads of volume, 3 footswitchable channels, FX loop, Power Dimension switching for more valvelike power amp distortion, and dual spring reverb.
Channel one's very nice and crisp with a decent amount of headroom plus a mid shift switch and a crunch option, while OD1 is pure AC/DC thunder and OD2 gave a great GN'R/early Manics tone with loads of gain, although I tended to run gains at half and boost with pedals as necessary. This amp takes pedals brilliantly and with a TS808 clone sounded like an all-valve. The preamp valve has been replaced with a Sovtek 12AX7 and sounds great, but can be put back to stock if you'd like.
I honestly prefer this amp to a DSL I owned! It's in excellent condition with no real nicks to the tolex that I can see, and comes with the original Celestion Gold 12" speaker. Looking at completed listings on ebay, one of these went for £132 recently, so £110 delivered would be fair?
