Default FT: Hughes & Kettner Switchblade 100 watt head

Looking to trade it for something far simpler. Mesa, Egnater or Diezel interest me, or anything that has great cleans and fantastic saturated overdrive. This amp is pretty much new and hasn't had much use. It comes with the original box, the footswitch and the manual.

No worries. I really wanted a Switchblade, but there were none for ages so I ended up with the Laney. If you don't get any other takers, it's worth bearing in mind that you can swap the EL34 valves for 6L6s, and then (depending on the preamp valves) you can easily get a good Mesa tone out of them.

IIRC with the switchblade it's not possible to swap the type of valves around. At least that's what a H&K tech told me, but you can pull the outer two valves for more saturation and to run it at 50 watts (what I'm doing at the moment).

No, I meant that for the sound you're aiming for, the Laney is worth thinking about because you can swap the valves around

Ahh I see what you mean now lol :P Laney just isn't really my bag, I've been gasing after an egnater or a mesa lonestar for so long now I think I'm going to try and go for one of those.
