Has anyone used Chris at Strings Direct in Rochford. Prices look quite cheap £40 - £80 (Depending on what needs to be done) for a set-up. I'm just wondering of he does a good job?

Moon in Glasgow is worth it in my opinion. He did a lovely job on my old 345 and was very helpful even talking himself out of cash when I asked for a refret and he demonstrated to me that it really wasn't necessary. He was right, I was being too nerdy and ill-informed. He rewired it and replaced the pots. now she sings.

Martin Dixon in Otley near Leeds and Bradford. He ran the Guitar Building course at Leeds college of music so what he doesn't know about building and maintaining guitars isn't worth knowing. Really nice guy as well.
