A very good friend of mine uses Dominic at Class A Amps, near York. Highly recommended in his view and he's recently worked a miracle for him on his old 50's Fender Princeton.

Great tech in the Luton/Dunstable area is Dave Russell.

He certainly knows his stuff and can do all manner of jobs from revalves to mods to cabinet building! He replaced the mains transformer in my Super Reverb while I waited and the work was exceptionally clean and well priced.

If you can't get hold of him then contact me on here and I'll get hold of him for you as I have his home number.

    With his permission,

John (JB) Bellamy is a semi retired self confessed valve geek. He repairs all sorts but vintage hammonds/leslies and old valve amps are his passion. Unbelivable low hourly rate it seems and he is thorough as all old school techs were.

He's the only guy that touches my original 68 plexi head and thats why its all original. The man has a stock of used but servicable parts to make your eyes water and will fit new to vintage only if essential.

I am related (brother in law) but none the less the man works miracles on valve amps particularly and would prefer to fix those than the hoards of school wrecked keyboards that keep comming his way.

    Tell him Kevin sent you.

    Edit:
He's based in Felixstowe but does travel sometimes so could return in person, he is ahppy to receive customers at his home workshop by appointment.

I just want to add an endorsement to Henk Philipsen at Horsham music. He sorted out my Mesa Boogie quick smart a little while ago.

    Lovely chap.
    Excellent work.
    Excellent prices.

You really couldn't ask for more.

I'll definately use him again if I can.

Oh and thanks to Fastboy (Ryan) for the recommendation here
