midi controls

hello boys

does anyone know how can i assign a specific control of a given virtual synth ( i.e. absynth, fm8) to a given controller of a midi master keyboard?


for example..i want that the controller 4 of my midi keyboard controls the filter cutoff frequency of a given FM8 patch

how can i do this?

some virtual instruments have a midi-learn function.. - it's my guess that FM8 does have one (like any NI instrument).. - and if my memory serves me right you will need to right-click the function you want to adress in the NI instrument and then simply move the controller you want adressed to that function.. MIDI-learn is nifty as hell.
