Don't push your luck. You're on pretty thin ice already.

Hello everybody, nice forum you've got here.

I've jut finished wiring and assembling a SE-5a 5W British overdrive amp.
The cab I used for this kit was made by Chris Uff, a British cab maker.
The combo is fitted with a Vintage 12" Celestion speaker made in the '70 (lots of mojo).

This amp has a beautiful and warm clean tone as well as a nice overdrive, suitable for blues and '70/80 rock style. You can swap the preamp tube for a 12AX7 for more 'bite' (more gain) but it will then lose the clean tone.

I'd like to sell it for £500:

    - £150 for the kit
    - £197 for the cab
    - £25 for the speaker
    - £50(?) for shipping (inc. £20 expenses to go and pick up the speaker)
    - ~£80 for my work (of which you can see the quality in the photo below)

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

    Thanks for reading.

P.S: I've just seen the Ghosts by ddlooping!! AWESOME guitars!!!

Because you're now listing it (still without saying it's from a kit, or that you bought in the cabinet) on Gumtree and eBay, hoping people there will be more gullible?

You made a mistake and apologised for it so hopefully the bashing will stop.

He's managed to make the same "mistakes" twice since on other sites. Either it's deliberate or he's really thick.

    I didn't realise it was a kit
“Jazz, isn’t that just a series of mistakes disguised as musical composition?”
