Well, I've just taken the plunge and bought a TC Nova System and so far massively impressed with the tone of the modulation and time based FX which is the reason I bought it (will be using it in my amps loop so taking the NS's drive section out completely)

Items can be collected from Crawley, West Sussex. I will send the XTC by post if required but won't send the JVM or PA so these will need to be collected. Obviously all pedals can be posted.

Whats the minimum boost on the MXR like? - I'm using a Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster in the loop and am finding the volume hike at minimum sometimes a bit too much.

Also, have a CTO, perhaps we could do a deal?

I had the exact same issue as you Welshboyo with the SD PB and exactly why I came to the MXR micro amp which deals with this perfectly. The MXR can go into negative boost in the lower half of the knob range so you could click it and for it to be quieter theoretically so you won't have the same issues of huge volume boosts that you get with the minimum setting on the SD. The MXR can go all the way to +15db boost which is more then you'll ever need for soloing...............

Your CTO + £25 for the MXR ??
