Hi all,

I am just wanting to get some ideas of the price of my Trantec dual diversity wireless system. I do believe it is a S3500 and it comes with 2 transmitters albeit one I am unsure if it is working right. The other is perfectly fine though. Please note that it does run on VHF but is completely programable.

The system has always been rack mounted so it is exceptionally clean. One of the aerials is ever so slightly bent but still folds away with no problems.

I bought it brand new about 12yrs ago and I can honestly say that I have never had a problem with it. The only reason I am wanting to move it on as I am upgrading to a top end Sennheiser unit that is being offered to me at a silly price.

The unit cost me £550 new, the additional transmitter was an extra £170 and the proper rack mount plate was £30.

Would I be right asking for £200 for the lot??? If I am wrong then put me right...

I think thats overpriced, especially with it being VHF rather than UHF, and with the new Line6 Digital wireless out for around the same proce as your asking..

Sorry, no idea.. can't see any on Ebay which is my usual tool for guessing prices..

Thats what I usually do also!!! The only option I had was new prices of them and the price I paid for it... The new prices appear to be around the £350 mark and the additional pack is is £170 so now really confused...
