Modulating insert FX in Kontakt

Now I'm getting the hang of getting cool sounds from subtractive synthesis alone, I'm allowing myself to get into resampling a bit more. This means getting into a bit more depth in Kontakt, and I've already fallen at the filter modulation hurdle. All i want to do is add a filter as an insert effect and moulate it using an LFO. The manual says that I just right click the parameter i wish to modulate and I'll get a list of modulation options. However, whenever i right click a parameter for a send effect, I only get the "midi learn" option. I cannot believe that Kontakt won't allow you modulate insert effect, so presume there is something very obvious I'm missing. It would be great if someone could point out what it is!!!

Edit: Ok, ignore me - just sussed in on re-reading the manual - can only modulate group fx, not instrumment effect.s.. Doh!
