OK, since the consensus seems to be to go with it...

I've had good experiences doing deals with Nik Harrison, darrcooper, cm01 and Sporky.

Not sure how this is going to have any value since no-ones gonna say that they've had a bad deal are they? And given the amount of gassing / trading that goes on on here, this is gonna be a mahoosive list.

I just saw this on Ultimate Guitar, it's a good idea. If you have a good deal with a member post it here and they will be added to the list. If someone is already on there and you also thought they were a good trader, also mention them, and I will update the number of times they have been recommended. This will help people who are dubious of trading on the forum.

I know most people here are reliable but there are a few who are out to scam people, and for this I will add a Bad Traders section as well! If the admin don't think this thread will help, please close it.

Not Such Good Traders

I've had one bad experience when selling a big muff a few months back, basically the buyer never sent payment despite several emails stating otherwise and didn't reply to any of my emails/pms requesting clarity on whether or not the deal was still on. Luckily I had a second buyer still interested after a whole month of being messed about.

Said bad trader shall remain nameless though as I don't believe it would do any good to try and out him because there may be lots of people who have had good experiences trading with him that would disagree strongly with me enough to say so on the forum. Then perhaps I might begin to look like the picky minority with an axe to grind trying to unjustifiably stir up trouble for someone else. Then who would want to trade with me despite being the innocent party? This is very thin ice we are treading...

I think giving positive feedback is a very good thing, that alone should give people an idea of who they can confidently trade with.

I can't even remember half of the people I've had deals with....... it's like a conveyor belt of gear on here.

Well, there was this one bloke who wanted us to send our acoustic guitars to him (in Sweden, iirc) and he would charge us an arm and a leg to "increase its resonant centre" or some bollocks (play a radio at it for a few hours) and then send it back.

I'm sure he's still in business

I've had some other one of purchases from guys on here that could not have been easier to deal with if they tried, infact, every transaction I've done with guys on this forum has been a doddle,

rockmonster - super easy to deal with also,

MarkSmith who I sold the N2 to, could not be easier also,

the guy I recently bought the Mad Prof trem pedal from ( Mattsmith99) very easy to purchase from.

Just a great experience on all fronts.
