I'm getting older... and I don't like it anymore :-(

I sometimes wish that I was doing 10-15 years ago those things that I'm doing now, but then I realised that the things I did then have led me to this point to enable me to do the things I do now, erm now.
I guess my point is that life is a journey, not a destination. It's not over till it's over. And I realise that these are actually cliches, and poor ones to boot, but I've been out in the hot sun and have several pints of 'omebrew in me belly, so it's the best you're gonna get from me.

That reminds me - I think I'll do the lottery tonight - and this time tomorrow I could a millionaire !! .....or, infinitely more likely - a quid poorer

Result ! Not only am I not one quid poorer, but I am now ten quid richer (well, nine really).
I have won the lottery !! Numbers 1, 4 & 12. That's the first time in, probably thirty lucky dips in the past year, that I've won anything.

Actually, there are a few advantages to getting older:

You can be a grumpy cnut as much as you like. People just put it down to you being old.

You stop giving a fcuk about how old you are.

You save a fortune in drugs. You get the same effect by standing up too quickly.
