but seriosuly, surely thats simple enough to fix yourself ?

Me & my owd chap did replace the bearings on the previous machine. Sounds simple enough but is in fact a WORLD OF PAIN!!

We have a Dyson washing machine. It has never failed us at all in the 8yrs that we've had it*. It is *huge* (can wash a superkingsize duvet no worries).




*Aside from this winter when everything in the garage froze solid...and then we just poured boiling water into it till it defrosted.

We had one of those too. Lasted 9 years, and had 3 visits (from cosmetic issues twice, and one breakdown). it was supposed to cose £70 for the vist, BUT on all 3 occasions diodnt cost anything - including parts. They even updated the software once.

Eventually though, these calls became more frequent (twice in the 6 months) so we got rid. Was REALLY good though. We would have had another but they stopped making them.

We ended up with a £700 LG - with 10 year warentee, direct drive and steam wash. Had the 2 years now and it hasnt skipped a beat. Its even bigger than the Dysion was (9Kg Load).

Same as anything in life - you get what you pay for. Spend £300 and it'll last 3-5 years. Pay £600 and it'll last 10+ no problem.
