Dating sites can work (eventually)
I've got chatting to a few girls over the last few months and met a few of them but none of them worked out. I'm fairly sure there was a shallow thing going on, as I only met women that I got on with really well chatting online, then on the phone. But after the date I would invariably get told that they didn't feel "the spark" or "the chemistry", in other words they read that I had lost 6 stone last year and thought they'd be meeting a real slim jim, but I've still got a couple of stone to go, so sod 'em! :P
But anyway I've been chatting to someone and we got on like a house on fire, so we met Friday afternoon for a pre-date couple of coffees, got on just as well, if not better and went on a proper 1st date last night and are now a couple. Couldn't be happier
