    Default Anyone help with this?

I'm hoping some of you guys can help me out. I'm about to start an ecommerce website which will sell products from multiple wholesalers. The core software I'm using handles the products, shopping cart and payment processing no problem, but lacks any supplier management tools.

So can anyone recommend a solution that I can enter each wholesalers details and product range with unit cost prices, VAT, delivery charges then I will know who to order the product from when a web sale comes in based on the SKU?

There is a module for the ecommerce solution I'm using but I don't have the €800 they are selling it for

    Would appreciate any suggestions.

Perhaps you should have looked into that as part of your solution before deciding to opt for the other ecommerce solution?

Is it too late to change? What is the ecommerce solution you've gone for?

As I see it you have 3 options:

    1. Buy the $800 module.
    2. Find another bit of software so you have to run the 2 together. Maybe you could integrate them somehow.
    3. Hire someone to write a bespoke module for you.

I suppose there's always a 4th option which is to find another solution that does both jobs. I'm sure Zen Cart covers what you need.

I'm a web developer by trade and always looking for projects to do in the evenings. I'd happily look at your requirements to see what I can do to help.

Well I went for this particular solution because of the frontend capabilities and the backend order processing and product management is excellent. It is only because I have decided to use multiple wholesalers that this issue has come up.

I guess the simple solution will be to cough up the $800 for the module, at least I know it works for this software. Was kinda of hoping for an open source php solution as a stop gap but can't find one for love nor money!

Just as a matter of interest...does the software you have allow you to put a product into multiple categories? If so, just create a category for each supplier and put their range in there (as well as the normal category structure). From there, it's a relatively simple matter of spreadsheet manipulation...in theory.

Yeah I have sent them an email already so will see what they can do so cheers for the link.

Unfortunately it does not use categories like this, I think it will be $800 for the module or see what Meanbee.com can do.
