UVI Soundstation Mac Installation

I need help, i haven't quite got the hang of macs yet, i'm using Logic Studio 9 on a Mac running OSX Snow Leopard.

In CM 152 i've successfully installed the UVI soundstation but i'm hving problems installing the sample packs included, the magazine's instructions say to copy them to the folder Library\Application Support\UVI Soundbanks.

Unfortunately for me the UVISoundbanks part of the folder location doesn't exist. Do i need to create it or should this have been done when i installed the program?

Oh you know what? I manually created the folder, copied the sample packs over, and lo and behold as soon as i tried to open them, Logic crashed and quit, twice. I'm fed up with this so called "amazing" free software Computer Music gives away. I'm cancelling my subscription.
