Unzipping Computer Muzys from dvd
Hi all. Have got a laptop from work, and know next to nothing about PCs. I've tried to install the Computer Muzys software on it, and every time I double click on the icon, its bringing up the error message 'Could not create - unzip operation cancelled'.
I've installed and uninstalled and reinstalled winzip as recommended but still no joy.
Any tips? As mentioned, I'm a PC newbie so please excuse any glaringly obvious errors I'm making!
I can't remember what winzip does by default when you double-click on a zip file, but it might be that it's trying to write something to the DVD containing the zip file.
Try copying the file to somewhere on your hard-drive (eg. the desktop) and doing the same from there.
In addition, you could look to see if winzip adds any other operations to the context menu (right-click on the file and see if there are options such as "extract files here").
