    Default WTB: Line 6 FB4

As per the title, really - sorted myself out with a Line 6 Flextone II for the band audition this week, and if I don't get the gig I might end up keeping the amp anyway for jam nights and stuff (got it for a song!), if I DO get the gig it might be handy as a backup if I sort out a 'proper' rig or might be able to work with it through a second cab or something.

    Let me know!

Which model? Make sure you set up your tone at gig level.

I haven't a clue as regards model man - it's the 1x12" combo, I don't know if they did more than one model of that!

If I get chance beforehand I'll definitely crank it some to check that what sounds good in the living room still sounds good LOUD - I guess I'll still have to do some tweaking once it's in a band environment anyway, but my usual 'turn everything to two o'clock' approach on the Modern Hi-Gain model sounds spot-on at the minute!

Ash - have messaged him, thanks for the heads-up!

The FBV4 is not compatible with the Flextone II - check out a secondhand Floor Board. This guy's having a laugh price wise - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Line6-FLOOR-BO...item1e5bf460f5

Line 6 made several versions of the Flextone II - a single 1 x 12 a 2 x 12 and an extension cabinet. Not a bad amp - it also has a proper fx loop.

Really? The help section of the Line 6 websire recommends a Floorboard, but does say that you can use an FB4 (which I'd much prefer, got my wah of choice already so only really need the equivalent of a channel switch)...

An FB4 [which is what you want] is a different beast from an FBV4 [which is for sale in the other thread] ...

AAAAHHHHH, gotcha - cheers man, might have saved me buying something that won't work! If I can't get four useable patches saved I'm being too fussy, so the hunt's still on for an FB4 (NOT an FBV4...)

Keep an eye on this .. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Line-6-Floorbo...item2c549b7d65

The Floor Board enables you to control the effects and the boost/drive function for solos. The FB4 is just a channel switcher.
