Default TRADE MIJ 50s Strat & PRS SE Singlecut

I have a lot of guitars and some are quite similar. So I figured I could trade a couple for something different.

First up is a 1986 Fender Japanese 50s reissue in Black & White, loaded with a matched set of Lindy Fralin Vintage Hot pickups, CTS cryo pots, vintage cap and a Callaham steel block and matching arm. It has a TBX custom wired so you can blend the bridge and neck pickups together and an aluminium full screening plate under the scratchplate.

This guitar sounds amazing and plays really well. But its been sat under my bed for three years mainly as I have a 7 other Strats.

Its a Made in Japan and not a Crafted in Japan, so its early and about to hit 25 years old!

I'm the kid that bought it in 1987 and it was made in 1986 according to the heel stamp. It has some buckle rash and two paint chips on the bottom edge from me gigging it and playing it in the studio.

Add a black scratchplate and you've got a Gilmour guitar! Or leave it as is and you have a Clapton.

Currently set up with 10s and with a medium / high action as I like them jacked up. It'll easily go low and if you want it'll go super low with light strings.

    I just prefer some grip.

Next up is a PRS SE Singlecut. Fantastic guitar, I just play my Gibsons far more and my other PRS. So its sat around wanting to be played... SOLD

    Great guitar and very versatile.

So I'm looking to trade both guitars for something very different. Either two guitars of similar value or one guitar of greater value for the two. Could also be tempted by a nice valve combo or a valve power amp and decent 2x12 cab.

Most of my other stuff has sold or is selling on Ebay, so I'm not looking for cash to be honest.

Thank you for the offer, but I would never play it. I'm a luddite electric guitarist and proud of it! So unfortunately classical guitars don't really float my boat.

Come to think of it, acoustic guitars aren't really my thing either? Strange...

    Ibanez RG570?
Its a bit more up market than the usual RG series Ibanez's. Its got Fred and Paf pro P'Ups, Tremol-no, Gold Hardware, Alder Body, Madagascan Rosewood fretboard. There's a bit of flame in the maple neck too

Its in pretty good condition for its age.
I'll take some more pix if you are interested
