    Default electonic drum kits

    Hey there, after finally deciding that drum loops just don't do it for me I am considering purchasing anAlesis DM5Pro electronic drum kit,
    question is , is it any good ? or any other suggestions

    Depends what you want it for.
    Are you a drummer?
    Do you want a nice feel when drumming or is price more important?
    Do you have the space for the whole thing? If not, why not go for a SPD-20 or something similar, there are cheaper Alesis versions about.

    To tell you the truth I will not be playing them that much ,(but I will of course) but I know a few drummers and I want to mine their talents for recording, ideally they would be playing the drums with the midi out going into my soundcard (M-Audio Ozone) and assigning it to a drum vsti, hopefully anyway thats the plan. thanks in advance for any comments

    It is a very good starter kit
    i had one, it did its job very well and for such i low price, i highly recommond it
