Default Oh poo...car MOT due, Guv'nor, PA bits and vinyl goodies for sale...

Right, MOT time has crept up on me and there's a few things that definitely need fixing before it'll pass, so the last few bits I've bought are going to have to go out of the door again

Bump for proper pictures and the addition of vinyl goodies on page 2...

Marshall mk1 Guv'nor, UK-made with original box - this was going to be a bit of a nest-egg for me as it's in great condition (barring the soft foam stuff on the base being reet tatty), complete with manual and all original packaging, and they're a bit rare, but needs must!

Gain, bass, middle and treble controls, as well as a handy insert-jack-style loop to switch in other effects at the same time as the Guv'nor - brilliant if you only use, say, delay during solos and want one-stomp operation.

Same model as used by Gary Moore and Johnny Greenwood amongst others; make me a reasonable offer on this as I'd much rather keep it but don't think I can justify doing so!

The other thing for the minute is a Samson Live 612 active 300W 12" PA speaker/monitor - planned on using this as a wedge for the drumming gig I've got but I reckon I can get by with what else I've got for the time being. It's one of these:

I'm in Walsall, West Midlands but heading up to Loughborough (sp?) tomorrow if anyone's between the two - looking for around £120 for this if you can collect, might cost a bit to post.

There's some other stuff I'm sure I've got kicking around that I can do without, so I'll update with proper pics and more stuff later! Help a brother out, I've got a week to raise at least a couple of hundred quid to keep me on the road...

Just eBayed a few cymbals and things that I decided I could do without; I think I'm down to the minimum I can get away with drum-wise now but I'll have a look!

EDIT: oh, actually - there's a drumming 'technique mirror' which I've never had cause/space to use which you could have for a couple of beers if you could collect it - it's basically a big, wooden-framed mirror on a stand about five feet high and three feet wide which you can use to watch yourself as you're practising and look out for any technique lapses. Brilliant idea, but since someone moved into the house next door to me (bastards! ) I don't practise at home any more.

Not sure I have the space for that, but thanks for the offer!

Well, the UK-made ones seem to go for between fifty and seventy-five quid on eBay, so make me an offer somewhere between those two - like I say, I'd rather not get rid as I'm absolutely confident I'll regret it when these start to go for stupid money in ten or twenty years, but right now needs must!
