    Default Esp Edwards Relic Strat

Can't figure out how to move this from the 'old' forum, so relisted now in the sub-forum. Ad as follows . . .

Righto, time to move this rascal on.

Bought about 2 yrs ago, this has been sitting in my room (in an ESP hardcase, incidentally--yep, 'tis included) due to a blues project that fell on its arse. It's had maybe thirty hours worth of playing, and I feel a bit of a tit just letting it sit there. Here's some specs from the website:

    BODY : Alder
    NECK : Maple
    FINGERBOARD : Rosewood
    SCALE : 648mm
    JOINT : Bolt on
PICKUPS : Seymore Duncan Custom Shop (TEXAS HotX2; Custom Bridge X1)
    CONTROL : 1Vol, 2Tone
    BRIDGE : Synchronized Bridge(Iron Block)
COLOR : Aged 3TS (lacquer finish)

    Link = http://www.guitarjapan.com/edwards/s...e-118r_re.html

This is as it was when I bought it, no added dings or owt. Seems a bit daft saying that seeing it's a relic, but there y' go . . .

    (Yep, I'm no camera man!)

Anyone local to the Wigan area is more than welcome to come along to try this out.

    £340 ovno.

    Ta for looking folks.

Why hasnt this gone yet? it's beautiful! Also the unofficial (or possibly official?) John Frusciante signature model if I remember rightly. Someone buy it before I sell a kidney.

Cheers for the vote of confidence on this Prof. I don't think I've ever had so much interest in a guitar with no definite sale as an end result (due to a combination of time-wasters and circumstances outside the interested partys' control).

I've done more research whils trying to sell the thing than I ever did when looking to buy it- a bit backwards I know, but there y' go! The Frusciante link seems a bit tenuous, but you're right - there is quite a bit of 'evidence' on the web that this was made with him in mind. Having said that, there's absolutely no official touting of the guitar as an actual signature model per se, so who knows . . .

Anyroad up, here's an interesting-ish thread that has more user-info regarding Edwards guitars, mainly concerning their strats:

Cheers again, Prof. I would have loved for you to have had this, buddy. (SELL that kidney - just DRINK less!!!)

Okay, I think this has 'trolled' these forums for long enough. So, a final, hopeful, England-are-gonna-thrash-the-USA-tonight (also hopeful!), BUMP!

    Any serious offers considered.

    Thanks again, guys.
