    Default Graphics favour?

On the scrounge : I need to get a band banner printed and the chap needs an eps or ai file.

I have a design (see http://theurgentfrogs.co.uk ) - now I think I'll need to just submit the text on a plain green background rather than use the textured background there - as the text can be vector but that greenburst I put it on there is jpg - sound right?

the problem I have is that my graphics package purports to save as eps and/or ai but the resulting files won't open at all in inkscape (a free vector editor) and when I emailed it to my Mac-equipped bandmate he just saw the 'urgent' bit in black - most odd!

So - if I can save it in a suitable format (photoshop psd is an option in paint shop pro) would someone be able to reliably convert it to eps for me? I've got until Thursday evening to sort it out

    ta for any pointers/help

I have Adobe Illustrator, so I can have a go for you.

send me an email with the and I will have a go later. Easiest way, I would imagine would be a psd with the text on a clear background?

Thanks for that - I think I've managed to sort it out though - rather than import in to Inkscape and export as eps I created it again in Inkscape and that looks to have worked - will see what the banner chap says.

Appreciate the offer of help very much though
