    Default Bon Scott era AC/DC...

....after watching a great tribute band last night. I am moved to say, that there is no better music than Scott era 'DC. Certainly not in a small club situation.

Another bit of trivia: He wore dentures. He was addicted to sweets, chocolates, and fizzy drinks which rotted away his teeth!!

On an aside, yesterday afternoon I took the London Underground to the Elephant and Castle, navigated the maze of subways around the station, and went for a walk up Walworth Road. Jeez, it is a most colourful part of London!!!

Seen dc79 a couple of times. They really are great! So was the Bon era DC. That stuff just makes me feel more 'alive' than anything else out there.

also.. My mate lived in East Dulwich for a time. He was going to take me to visit the spot where Bon died, on one of my rare visits darn sarf, but we never got round to it..

I just took a look at DC79 on Youtube (when I finally discovered a decent video...) and they certainly do the 'tribute' thing justice with 'Angus' being particularly convincing. I will try to see them as soon as my work schedule coincides with a gig.

Wullybee - I know exactly what you meen dude. There's something about 'DC that really makes you feel good.

Yep, now you're talking. Bon-era AC/DC is my favourite music full stop I think. I blame the old man for caning a tape of "Dirty Deeds..." in the car when I was a kid.

    So... favourite Bon-era album? Anyone?
