He obviously misheard the board though, reckons Liverpool will be top four next season! Unfortunately for Roy he will have to do it without at least 4 top players as the club tries to reduce the debt.

Think he could do well if the players take to him, Gerrard has already said he supports the new manager, so he is the first one out then

I would sell Gerrard. He is getting injured too frequently and is not the force he was.
After his display for England he is slightly pasti it and not worth his money
Torres is a great player but again frequenlty injured - a good deal might release some money for younger players

Liverpool are deep in debt and need to raise some cash to ease the situation.
Hodgson is a very experienced manager who I think could do a job for a limited period of time given his age

100% percent correct about torres. they would get shit loads of money for him, and considering there are MUCH better players out there, it would be a good deal IMO. I'd be tempted to get rid of Gerrard too, He's not got many seasons left in him(at the top level) so why not make a shit load of cash from him too. Mascharno I wouldnt get rid of. There are too many 2nd rate players that are on top wages. They need to trim the squad, and perhaps even let a few youngsters through.
