    Default Is it safe to...

    Hi,

Is it safe to plug a 3-plug extension into an existing 4-plug extension without drastically shortening my life expectancy?

Depends on what you're plugging into the 6 available sockets.
Light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until they make a noise.

I realised actually never use my video so I unplugged it.

But if I needed to in the future is that stuff ok?

+1 If the total load from everything linked to it doesn't exceed 13amps you can plug in as many as you like.

    Toaster+Hoover+Hairdryer+Washing Machine+Heater+Pressure Washer=BAD

    HiFi Amp+CD player+Phone charger+Internet router+Laptop+Desk lamp=FINE

Fine. You'll probably not have that lot all running at the same time anyway but even so the total load probably won't exceed 13 amps. Careful you don't start everything up at once though as some things tend to 'spike' on startup and draw a big load for a second or so.

You'd be so mutated by the radiation and molecular poisoning from cooking 6 Chicago Town pizzas simultaneously that you'd develop an immunity to fire.

Yeah but you'd have 6 Chicago Town pizzas so it evens out in the long run.
