wanna get the uprgrade but a few q's:

1. Will i still be able to use Logic 7.2?
2. Do I have to have 7 installed to install the upgrade, or is the upgrade also the full boxed version, and the pricing is different cos ur a registrered user. I ask because Im thinking of formating my mac, I;ve got waay to much junk on it, and I woudlnt want to have to install 7, then 8.

From what I gather, Logic Studio is everything logic 7 pro is and more, so I wouldn't see a reason to run them both. But I could be wrong.

You can run them side by side apparently.
You need your xskey to install the upgrade but not after,unless you need to reinstall,

So even if you don't buy a copy of Logic in the USA ($499 = £250) it's still half the price of Cubase 4??? Surely this means Steinberg may lose more of the market if they don't do something about their prices??

I've never used it myself only Cubase (on a Mac G5), but if I can save myself that much cashola, I may convert, considering how many people use it to great effect.
