Is there a "scan for new plugins" facility in Samplitude 8SE please?

    Default sam plugs

    Hi JOBU,

If you mean just a shut down and re-start, no go. If you mean a pc re-boot still no go.

IF you mean a re-install of Sam8 I have few re-activations left and surely that would not be the way it worked?

I ALWAYS have trouble getting plugins to work. I faff about cop&pasting, dragging and dropping gettng nowhere and then, sometimes, they Magixally (groan!) appear
    Many Thanks,
    Dave.

I mean just close the app and reopen it, in some cases you have to restart the computer too. That should be enough. If not there is something wrong with the installation process of the plug. Ie.. wrong folder or other things.

    Default sam plugs

    Thanks JOBU.

Yes, there is something in the process I have not grasped yet.

I am completely self taught on pc's and there are huge gaps in my knowledge that would have been plugged (Boom! Boom!) had I had some "formal" tuiton.

One day it will all click into place I am sure

    Rock on,
    Dave.

    Default Sam 8 and plugs

Oh! I don't mind admitting it JOB' I will argue electronics (analogue!) with anyone but I come clean about my pc T as Sness.

Mind you as I have persevered I have found that a LOT of people who you at first THINK are pc cute have rather limited knowledge in some areas. I remember a couple of years ago (when I was really green!) I asked several people how to change where things are "sent to" with a right click "send to" function. Some said they didn't know, a few said "can't be done!" Bloody can! Took me all night and a big phone bill (dial up then) but I cracked it.

You just gotta put in the sweat!
    Dave.
