So I ordered a Zoom PSU from GAK, because they're the only ones I could find who had one & weren't on holiday!
They sent me an email update, which was empty!
Today when I check the order status it says they are currently awaiting shipment, and the estimated depatch date is September 9th!
I've got 4 gigs before then!
Assholes! Why don't they tell you it's out of stock before accepting your order?
This is the second time this year they've done this to me!

Don't blame GAK, blame Dolphin Music as from my understanding, I believe they run GAK online and the shop is an entirely different business.

Personally I would never buy anything online unless I knew it was in stock beforehand...

there is a fairly recent thread up in guitars-general discussion on GAK started by Mark from GAK. You could add to that and/or send him a PM - might be a way to get more notice than e mailing them.

Personally, I think that if a company outsources its online trading but tolerates poor service without doing anything, which would appear to be the case with GAK, they are to blame. You can't outsource your responsibilities when it's your brand at the top of every page - and on the bill.

I had the same issue with a TU-3 from Gear4U, but as I am not currently gigging, it wasn't a hardship.

i posted my bit as I was leaving work and the net runs a bit slow there so would have ended up with a parking fine trying to find and post the link!

Well give them some due, I 'phoned GAK & they cancelled the order without any fuss.
I ordered one from Zoom UK on Thursday afternoon, it was delivered this morning (Saturday), and I'm now back up & running!
And it was a quid cheaper than GAK
