Default Recently heard one of the finest guitar/amp cominations I have ever experienced.

A totally stock and much battered Mexican Telecaster with the "wrong" bridge into a WEM Dominator Mk III.

SM57 up to the grille, another SM57 in the back pointing at the back of the cone, LDC about 6 feet away in the room.

Occasionally supplemented with an EHX Hot Tubes (the valve one) for mild grit/drive.

Astonishing. Best valve amp sound I've ever heard. Definitive Tele sound.

    Sounds nice!

Not a patch on one of these:

    through this though!

EDIT: Just looked up WEM Dominator... weird-looking amp!
My name is Connor and I have a GAS problem.

I also have some videos of myself playing guitar. Here they are.

There's so many things wrong with that rig, I don't know where to start.

Unless you read my John Petrucci thread, I fear the joke may be irrelevant.

    And it's a killer rig!

I remember WEM Dominator's from the 60's ... our guitar player used one. And yes, they are awesome [from what I remember]

FAR too much picking on Bucketheadrules. He's a very young chap who displays a level of intelligence, empathy and restraint that's beyond the majority of proper grown up forum posters the world over.
I listen to bands that don't even exist yet.

That's a new one on me, not heard that before!

I can see Bertie's point though... strongly worded, admittedly, but it's horses for courses really.
