There's a bloke on youtube who did an amazingly authentic version of The Smith's 'How Soon Is Now', all on his own, using a Rickenbacker, Precision and drums which he all played. Can't find it but it's well worth hunting out-and I'm not especially a Smiths fan.

Edit; found it, his username is danielearwicker but as I don't understand how to do links you'll need to find him yourselves! Well worth it.
