    I know! What a shock, real bummer. My drummer told me this afternoon and I'm still wondering what a MP-less DT is going to be, I mean who the hell can fill his shoes?

    Good luck to him though. From his website postings it's obvious he's following his heart, and he's spent the last 20 years telling everyone to do just that.

    Where now for DT then. I wonder what member was really pushing the heavy riffs compared to the interesting prog rock style of recent years. If it was portnoy then perhaps this is a good move - they could go back to the old days of seriously good prog rock!

    I think their last few albums haven't had the spark of their older stuff. Maybe a break would have been better!

    I thought Systematic Chaos is bloody great! Black Clouds has it's moments, but worth buying for the bonus covers disk alone.

    Both of them a shitload better than Awake and Six Degrees anyway.
