This morning getting ready for my shower, I turned on the cold full bore (as normal) and then the hot. Got the temperature exactly right first time!

In other happyness, as may have been apparant from the "office thread", me and my "supervisor" don't exactly get on. Now as our dept is moving into the same building as the service dept, he'll be getting a major shock as all the staff over there (from apprentice through foreman/master tech up to general manager) would rather work with me as their parts bloke. Which pleases me greatly.

turned up for a meeting this morning feeling self conscious about my Movember moustache ( still in a bum fluff stage) and feeling it would attract disparaging comments from my manager as were meeting an important person ( long story but important to us, trust me on this). Anyway, turned out he is also sporting Movember bum fluff and recognised what I was doing and it was all very jolly.
Breeding mammals with insects is my personal bugbear.
Spent my lunch hour trying to get my mate's Surfcaster neck pickup working again - despite knowing full well that I haven't the foggiest what I am doing and it's clearly a waste of everybody's time.
