I think people are being cautious about spending at the moment. I've been trying to sell a couple of guitars for months and whilst there has been interest, people are wanting to buy at an absolute rock-bottom price, which I won't do. Selling is a slow business in today's climate.

I'll echo the "no cash thing".
While I've got money i could easily splurge on gear, The times where I'm being stung for an extra bill or a price hike seem to be increasing recently.
(Keep it and flog it to me in 6 months)
