    Default Mac-only forum ?

    Hi
I just think having one Mac-Only forum would make newbies'queries easier.
So, maybe if enough people vote accordingly in this poll ?
    Bye

no, you'd end up with 4 fora where you only need 2. Discussion and Support fora for both platforms. Howabout a Linux forum? Nah, just keep it together.

Well, if adding a forum just adds a small record in an SQL DB table, why should it matter to have one or 2 more ?
BTW, I am not sure Linux-music is already more than a concept : mind you, I have been working with it since 1993 : it just has to prove its usefullness to more than just computer nerds...

I would'nt be bothered by one, but I don't think I'd end up going there very often. I'm sure alot of pc users read through mac threads now that they are all under one category, and we might even have some converts due to it? (one way or another anyway)

I notice I only read though 2-4 sections as is, and adding another one would not change that. (short attention span) I also don't feel that there is even a huge amount of posts in general on the computer sections. Never really saw a post vanish to the next page on the same day.

The way most of us read this forum is: we click on "View Posts Since Last Visit" once in a while to see what's happening. The different forums just make it easier to go *back* to a topic you've already read. So, a Mac-only forum would make next to no difference except being really small with only a few topics BECAUSE APPARENTLY YOU MAC USERS NEVER HAVE ANY COMPUTER PROBLEMS.

Personally, I'd like to see a mac forum.

Since I saw the light and bought a mac last October (and no regrets I might add ), I'm more interested in helping people out with mac questions. At the moment I tend to stick to answering the mac threads in other forums because that is all I have time to do these days

It's definately not a bad idea. But are there enough mac users on this particular forum to make it worthwhile for the forum guys to implement it?
