    Richard Harrison and Justin Harrison.

Apparently once caught trying to fake McCartney provenance (and caught out by the BBC?): http://www.thecanteen.com/mccartney7.html

mmm can't find anything for the senior courts. I'll have a look at the ASA etc.

All those big guys scammed? I am not convinced. Hammett / Metallica are not exactly non-litigious.

But the question has to be asked, with all this flying around the net, why didn't Music Ground sue for libel etc?

Did MG actually go into liquidation?

As i understand it, some bits of the Harrison empire have gone. Others remain (like the Ebay offshoots). Like a lot of organizations, MG is split into many separate Ltd companies. It's that old-fashioned technique that - by pure coincidence - allows company directors to run several businesses from one desk, and - if the worst looks like it's about to happen - they can be... er... 'creative' with assets and creditors.

(Which is the reason why I've posted here before that it's a bad time to be putting valuable gear on commission sale with a dealer).

It's also relevant for those who didn't know that Steve Giles, the chap who had been building the JMI 30/6 amp for Music Ground, stopped working with them earlier this year. Something to do with not being paid on time if I remember correctly.
