    Default Cordless Keyboard and Mouse

Has anyone experienced interference when using Cordless (RF) Keyboard and Mouse? They would be very handy to control the PC from the live room but don't want to buy one to find it fills my setup with RF interference.

    Cheers

    hi, welcome to the forums.

to answer your question, i once had a cordless mouse and yeh they're quite nice. cos if you keyboard or whatever isn't directly in front of your computer you can move your mouse next to your keyboard and work the computer from there (providing its in range). so basically you dont have to move to go over to the computer and click record and stuff in your sequencer and so its quite handy. however, batteries go fast on those things and thats what put me off because the mouse becomes slow and stuttery when its low on juice and this happens all to frequently when you're messin around in your sequencer and so i wouldn't, on the whole recommend a cordless mouse or keyboard - though the keyboard batteries last a lot longer, usually. hope that helps.

    Default Batteries

I've changed the batteries in the mouse once. In the keyboard - not yet. I've had the PC for 18 months.

Sometimes I get interference, but that isn't really a problem.

Battery life is OK (but then again I put rechargeables in so that doesn't really matter) ... when the batteries start to go performance is an issue (but more of an issue to my Battlefield Vietnam playing)

But, the biggest problem is with the Logitech drivers ... occasionally I get a complete freeze up of both keyboard and mouse. Thank God I have a USB mouse from my laptop that I can use ...
Guitars, effects, a computer, Logic Pro, effects, some more effects ... oh and some effects.
