MIX 3 - Kerry and Vasko - OFF

Kerry's not heard this mix-down yet and it still needs a bit of tweaking but here is what we have so far:

yeh its nice this.. i feel like the drop needs to come a bit earlier on though at the beginning.. great work on blips and glitches its sounds wicked! personally would have liked to see more of a melody kick in at some point.. but the production is great as is the mix.. nice bit of stereo widening you got going on at the end of every 4 bars or so in the second half of the track..

the ending bit where its just the beat and little 'blip'!! i love that! i think you should incorperate that more in the track, i think it would break it up a bit.. really nice track though vask-i (and kerry of course :tounge: )

disagree with nab about the drop, I think its perfect, but I do agree with him about the melody (and the two little guitar funk stabs towards the end add nothing, I'd ditch that)

what have you used for the lead riff?

I'll have a chat with Kerry, but i'm thinking maybe we'll have a play with another melody part perhaps..
The lead is the Arturia Jupiter 8v, the demo that was on the cm disc a few months back. I'm not sure what the limitations of the demo are, I've only got about a dozen presets and I'm not convinced the automation is working but I've used it loads and no time-out so far.. Great synth.
