Default Echo GINA 24- any good??

Simple question really, but one full of potential for a good old "de bate!"

I've been strugglin along trying to ignore the fact that the Edriol UA 20 I bought is not up to it. For a kick off, whatever anyone says, USB is NOT fast enough for music applications. The latency is unacceptable yet we're meant to 'work around' it apparently! The only workaround is to be defff!

What do y'all think fellow music eels? Does anyone know the Echo GINA 24, is it OK?

I've used a Echo... Indigo, Darla 24/96 and a Mia. I think they all performed nicely. I would recomend their line to anyone. I'm currently using the Mia on my "Internet" box for gaming and stuff. The Darla 24/96 is in my DAW.

Cheers, I had hoped someone could confirm what I'd been told.
