In the spirit of the post on Kaki King (and others of the same style) what how would you guys feel about a masterclass in the mag about this kind of style?
Here's the topic btw:
Can't we have a Michael Hedges lesson instead?
Originator of 'get a blog' and the 1000 post naked run.
So many views and only four votes?
Can't we at least get a comment from the people who run the magazine on the feasibility of such a master-class?
I'm not people who run the magazine, but I reckon Eric Roche could do that class in his sleep. Come to think of it, I'm sure I read in an earlier issue that he would be doing some more of that style in the mag...
Unfortunately, it would appear that Eric's presence in GT is diminishing.....
I think it's more a case that GT is taking on a great deal more folks from Guitar Institute, BIMM and the like. I hope Eric's influence doesn't diminish he is as much a part of GT as Jamie, Jason and Guthrie and that guy um Neville...
I reckon Eric would be a prime choice for this style as he seemed to have a pretty encyclopedic knowledge of the matter when I quizzed him over a sarnie in the lunch break at an IGF workshop, he even offered to hook me up with a guy who was selling a Chapman Stick
mucus ardour urban mr men turnip!
actually, it's more to do with Eric being in high demand, what with touring, recording and what have you
He certainly can! And hopefully we willOriginally Posted by Shpeil
