To me it's not really the same band anymore. Can Axl even write songs anymore? Anyway, they should release it ASAP.

I agree, it isn't the same band. To be honest, it NEVER will be the same as before, but i also doubt it will be a failure, no matter how bad the album itlf actually is. You see, there is so much hype about the album, and Axl will use this to his advantage, endlessly selaying the album to build tension so that when it FINALLY is released, every1 who was into the old guns will buy it.
I certainly will even if it sucks, simply out of curiosity :lol:

It's a shame that after he mentioned the possibilty of it happening that the rumour mill kicked into action, blew the whole thing out of proportion and ultimately lost Ron the chance to try out for it.

i agree i will buy it just 2 c how it is. i kno its going to be nothing compared to the great (imo) Guns 'N' Roses and it definatly will suck

I saw 'new' G 'n' R live in Birmingham a few months back; to be fair, it was an awesome show - I wouldn't write off the ginger gimp just yet, his voice is still sharp. Bumblefoot's an amazing guitarist - technically, he pisses all over Slash, but then again he doesn't have the same domineering presence. That's not to say BF doesn't have presence - he does, but it's a different kind.
