    Default Zildjian A/K/Z wanted!

Heyy, i'm looking to buy Zildjian A/K/Z custom cymbals, preferably looking for a 17" to balance out my cymbal arsenal. Can maybe swap for Paiste 2002 or cash

Either post back on this or PM me, or email me on cm_team@hotmail.com

    Thanks!

    19'' Z custom projection crash
    or
    20'' Z custom power ride

    Any of those of interest?

I think the 19" crash is a bit to loud for my style, although i do play heavy, how well does the power ride crash? I have a paiste 2002 20" medium ride atm, it crashes okay, but i think i might prefer something more crashy, maybe a crash/ride.

The main thing i am looking for is Zildjian Z/K/A 17" crash though, so i can replace my paiste redsound thin crash, which does sound rather nice, just going for a more defined style.

Sounds to me like you arent sure on what you want.

What sound are you trying to acheive? ALL the zildjian models you list are completely different.

    Zs are loud rock/metal cymbals
    Ks are dark cymbals
    As are bright cymbals

For a crash ride, If it were me, I would look at 18'' crashes from the K range, or of course 20'' rides.

    I know, i'd prefer a 17" A Custom crash and an 18" Zildjian K crash/ride.

My current setup is an unusual one too:

Sabian AAX Stage Hi hats 14"
    Zildjian A Custom Crash 16"
    Paiste Redsound Thin Crash 16"
    Paiste 802 Power Crash 16"
    Paiste 2002 Medium ride 20"

If i could describe to you my style i would, but its so mixed, very energetic and bright, and heavy i suppose, i own a single bass pedal, but i use a lot of bass drum and use the technique heel-toe every now and again.

    Got enough 16'' crashes!?

Crazy, you need to get on the 17-20'' size of crash

    17" A Custom Projection crash and a 18" Zildjian K crash/ride is a good idea.

haha, definitely my point, i don't think i'll ever sell the 802 power crash though, its absolutely amazing, especially live, gives that extra burst, but yeah i definitely want a 17" crash to replace the paiste redsound

i'll put a photo of my kit up soon to show you heh

Looks like the newer Z3 range. If it is, £120 isnt too bad at all.
