    Default Snare Tunings

Hi, i'm not a tuning expert, my snare drum (pearl EX export series with black hardware) is tuned to a good level, but it lacks the rebound on the batter head. Would a very tight batter head and a medium tight reso head sound good?

    Cheers

Why not tighten them up and find out?

Keep the tension even and dont go too mad, and you will be fine

What might help, is leaving the resonant as it is, if its a different feel you want, just tighten up the batter head. Usually, when i tune my snare, i have the batter head a bit tighter than the reso side. you should be fine

What heads and snare wires you using?

As per your other posts....you are talking absolute rubbish. Ask any drummer and they will NOT say the same as you.
