Eric Roche Tribute GT Cover?

Just seen the current issue and while there was no mention that I could see of Eric on the cover, there was a very nicely expressed editorial from Nev. Well written and just the right amount of emotion, too. Well said, Nev.

Out of interest, does it cost a guitar magazine money to put an artist on the cover?

After all, the artist is acting like an advertisement to get readers to buy and their music might not directly featured in the mag (and thus making them money). For example, John Frusciante may be on the cover but there may just a "Play like" feature on his style.

If this is the case, if they were to put Eric Roche on the cover of GT (a full cover, not a little side-photo!), then it would not only be a touching tribute, it would make economical sense too.
