    Default FX loop issues

I'm having trouble with the fx loop on my boogie rectoverb. I set the level on full, then pass the signal through a boss rv3 with the mix control on the pedal set to the desired level (around half).

Sometimes the pedal seems to go into self oscillation, which is weird for a digital pedal! I've got two RV3s which do this and work fine normally.

    Any clues?

Errr, don't run it on full? I've got a Dual Recto and I often put my RV3 in the loop. I set the FX loop send and return levels at about 60% and that works fine. You must be overloading the pedal input level (or something).

Digital pedals can self-oscillate just the same way as analogue ones. Is it a parallel loop? Could be that it's the amp's FX loop that's creating the feedback path...

That's fine until you want to add say, a looping device in the fx loop.
