Is OpenSynth Neko worth to be desired of

I have been browsing the net and get stuck with an amazing synth, computer and a workstation at the same time. They call it OpenSynth Neko by open lab.(www.openlabs.com)

My question is, is this kind of product worth to be desired of to be the ultimate sequencing musician tool?

May I know of any Pro who uses it?

Is this really a great product?As I see it considering the Price ($4,495)is it really worth.

I think it's only recently been released. I don't know, i'm not totally sold on it - especially for the price.

No...I don't think it's worth it...you could get the same for a lot less money (stable tweaked computer by Carillion or something, nice controller keyboard and control surface...it'll come out cheaper methinks)...

I don't think one could get a 64-bit processor or touchscreen from Carillon though, could they?? BTW, has anybody seen the review in this month's Future Music yet?

yeah, they didn't seem totally sold on it either....

Well, it seems that they were quite impressed--great ratings in every category except "Value For The Money"--and I checked out Open Labs website and it seems they've slashed their UK pricing pretty dramatically. From what I can tell, I don't think one could assemble a comparable setup with a Carillon, etc, for that much less.
