I love the way we've all started out trying to do something a bit different before finally giving in to what the people want...but still trying to play some stuff that doesn't steal our soul.

Some interesting ones in the lists so far !... a couple that caught my eye in a cheesy-poptastic-kinda-way-great-mate; Club Tropicana, 500 Miles (I'm guessing that's the 'wen ah wek up, well ah nor ahm gunna bee..' etc ).

Jalapeno - your list looks like a compliation of setlists from every band I've been in ! - spooky !

Just out of curiosity, how many of you have keyboard players ? I'm seeing a few songs crop up that, to my mind, can't be done without one - e.g. Uprising, Oliver's Army, Mama told me not to come, etc....

Have had keys in the past, not the last band though.
I'd like keys in the new line-up, if possible.

(All my keyboard players have to follow a simple rule: piano & Hammond only )

Yep, that one. Everyone goes crazy for it! It's a constant source of amusement to the bass player and I, as it's such a simple song. The people love the simple ones!

    E-bow!

Put through an echo and with a bit of chorus. Works really, really well.

We ended up playing a few classic rock bits and bobs but its only when we play for the Hells Angels and its only stuff we actually like. Some great choices in there though.

Do you have samples or anything for dragula?

    Really ?

You couldn't find room for a little bit of shred in, say 'Club Tropicana' ?

Some filthy scooped 5th chords in, perhaps, 'Take on Me' ?

What about a few bars of ultra-fast sweep picking in 'Angels' or 'Tainted Love' ?

    No ?

    Hmmm ?

    Huh ?
