I just did a 2 hour update, I've been falling waaaaaaaayyyy behind lately!! Appreciate it though dude!

it would be helpful if the forum moderators could delete all posts beyond the first post so there is a summary page and then start again with the additions that way the people mainting the front page don't have to go through 70 + pages for +'s keep the totals on the front page, but delete the others so it resets the counter making it easier to track

"the people maintaining the front page" as much as I wish this were true, it's just me! But yeah it would be useful - I always say when I'm up to date so everything before this is null and void.

Good man. Appreciate this is a lot of effort for one person to do and I'm sure you look forward to it as much as most people feel looking at the gear they've got to pack away after a gig...

I've thought long and hard about this but I've decided to do it.

Two things to make clear on this

1.) I'm not bothered that people pull out of deals - it's the dealings / danger going on behind the back
2.) I did not lose any money on either of these deals, although I very nearly did.

I agreed to buy a bluesbreaker pedal from him, hassled him for days for how to pay him, then was told someone had offered him more money so he was going to sell it to them, fair enough, no problem. He then mailed me to say the deal had falled through would I like it at a reduced price for a quick sale, I again hassled him for payment details, he told me he was waiting of "firm offers" I explained I was accepting his "firm offer" at the price he wanted to sell it to me and wanted to pay him, he then told me he wouldn't sell it at that price and was trying to negotiate deals elsewhere - this guy is making firm deals and offers prices himself that he's then trying to out haggle behind your back.


also a -1 for Teejfunkymonk - big danger dealing with this guy.
I agreed to buy a pedal at a price, asked for payment details, agreed to pay by bank transfer (10pm at night). I woke up at 7:30 the next morning to make the payment and by chance logged into the forum to get his bank details and found a message saying already sold elsewhere, so had I not logged into get the details I would have given this person £200 for a pedal he'd sold elsewhere. In the same thread he'd also done the same to the user camf he's agreed a sale with him camf was making the payment (as me) so this guy was going to get £400 and he'd sold it to someone else off the forum.
