Yep, you're spot on about 'dem dere drivers, boy' - they're s.....e, no doubt about it !!
You would of thought EMU would be doing far more than they have to sort out these driver issues - especially that they tend to appear on far more mobo combinations that is healthy. As a product manufacturer my first concern would be doing everything I could to ensure that my product works with as many hardware setups as possible - afterall, the more universal, potentially the better the sales and revenue. Such a pity, as the cards do sound pretty darn good when they actually work.
Anyone from EMU reading this who would care to comment ???
nah... but the only reason to go for EMU is their M-line... nothing else. I also hear people complaining less about the M-cards.
